Creative Europe film takes home a Golden Globe
A Creative Europe-backed film has been triumphant at the Golden Globe Awards: Hungarian Son of Saul (Saul Fia) which has taken home the prize for Best Foreign Film.
Directed by László Nemes and also contending for a Best Foreign Language Film Oscar, the war drama secured a grant in the latest round of distribution funding results from the MEDIA sub-programme’s Selective scheme. The film will be released in the UK by Curzon Film World on 1 April this year.
