Selector Radio in Cuba

You probably already know that Selector Radio has listeners all over the world. It's recorded in Clerkenwell, London, and then sent to countries in kit form which means all elements of the show, including the songs and DJ segments, can be chopped and changed to suit the country and translated into the local language. We spoke to Selector Radio's Phil Catchpole who told us about his recent trip to Cuba, one of 46 countries who broadcast the show, and he told us about how life and radio is different there, how the language barrier was overcome, and how a live broadcast of the show made it "en el aire".
